For beginners like me, I love to take point and shoot pictures wherever I go to interesting places. I used to bring my smartphone and action camera to capture unforgettable moments. However, these moments mostly likely be ruined by I have unlock my phone then scroll to a bunch of apps and look for the Camera app or wait for my action camera to boot for 5 to 10 seconds. Luckily, the new A5000 can take about a second to power on and take a picture and 2-seconds to completely switch off. Hassle-free and perfect gear to capture instant moment!
The camera has also dedicated movie record to quickly capture moments. A top buttons are pretty well laid out and easy to navigate. It has a pop-up flash which can be adjusted to vary the flash bounce angle and a pair of stereo microphones on the left and right of it.
